It seems that one of the worlds we see looks like a planet from the series, and might be an intentional hint that Sora will soon be meeting the space crew. Eagle-eyed fans believe they saw a hint of Star Wars being finally brought into the world of Kingdom Hearts, after Disney’s acquisition of the franchise in 2012. If this new title and the announcement of a fourth installment weren’t enough to get you hyped, the news doesn’t get you in the habit. Square Enix hasn’t given us a release date of the final build of the game, – but today’s show gave us more than enough Kingdom Hearts news to fight with now. Both the US and Japan seem the same as it was, but with luck, fans across the world will take the chance to try out the new mobile game early. There isn’t yet a date for the closed-test, so we don’t even know where it’s going to be. Either that or we will have to create our own character, which many fans will expect, evidencely if we have improved visuals. Given the unfriendly face like a keystick in the trailer, Missing Link will tell an entirely new story. As you can see in the trailer below, its gameplay is essentially reminiscent of mainline, and the graphic is almost utterly impressive as it used to be. Missing Link, which looks more like a console game than a typical Kingdom Hearts mobile title, is now available only for iOS and Android. Kingdom Hearts Missing Link was shown at the 20th today, complete with a trailer featuring both cinematics and gameplay. Items: Gooey Bomb now has gravity when thrown. BGM now retains its previous volume when looping. Backwards-hitting attacks no longer flip the opponent to face the wrong way. Projectiles no longer check for collisions with other projectiles if they both have the same owner. It wasn’t a surprise that fans were able to get an avalanche of Kingdom Hearts news today, so it did not end with the announcement of a fourth mainline series.
